This role provides an excellent introduction to AP processes, giving the apprentice handsâon experience in digital invoice workflows, financial controls, and transactional processing.\n\nâ¢\tValidate supplier invoices using the OCR system.\nâ¢\tEnsure high accuracy in data capture before invoices are routed for approval and processing.\nâ¢\tMonitor OCR exceptions, resolving simple errors and escalating more complex issues to senior AP colleagues.\nâ¢\tSupport the team with routine AP administrative duties, such as handling basic supplier documentation queries.\nâ¢\tHelp prepare files or information for audits or internal reviews.\nâ¢\tContribute to process improvement by identifying recurring OCR errors or workflow bottlenecks.\n Along with company training you will be working towards an Accounts Apprenticeship.
