PMO Analyst – Wealth Management Transformation
London
Albany Beck is partnering with a leading Investment Bank to support a major business change and transformation agenda. We're looking for a PMO Analyst to join a high-performing Transformation Management Office (TMO), working at the heart of a complex, multi-year change portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven PMO professional who enjoys operating at portfolio level, producing executive-quality insights, and enabling senior leaders to make informed decisions.
About the role
As a PMO Analyst within the Transformation Management Office, you'll support portfolio oversight, governance, data management and executive reporting across a broad change agenda. You'll play a key role in ensuring transparency, consistency and quality across transformation initiatives, while championing best-practice PMO standards, tools and ways of working.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, programme teams and functional partners to monitor delivery, highlight risks and dependencies, and help drive in-year value realisation.
Key responsibilities
Portfolio Data Management & Executive Reporting
Produce high-quality, executive-level reporting across the transformation portfolio, ensuring updates are accurate, concise, fact-based and timely.
Maintain a single "golden source" of portfolio data, covering milestones, OKRs, benefits, risks, dependencies, financials and overall health.
Perform detailed data quality checks, interrogating inputs and working with data owners to resolve gaps or inconsistencies.
Analyse portfolio data to identify trends, emerging risks, interdependencies and potential blockers, providing clear, actionable insights.
Support and champion the effective use of portfolio and project management tools (e.g. Planview).
Drive continuous improvement through automation, simplification and smarter PMO processes.
Governance, Oversight & Assurance
Coordinate governance forums, including preparation of meeting packs, terms of reference, minutes and supporting documentation.
Monitor adherence to agreed governance frameworks, standards and delivery methodologies across the portfolio.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of key artefacts to support lifecycle gate approvals.
Track delivery against OKRs, benefits, milestones and financial measures, escalating issues and supporting remediation where required.
Analyse lessons learned to identify portfolio-wide themes and recommend improvement actions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong working relationships across the TMO, PMO community and senior leadership teams.
Partner with Technology, Digital, Finance, Risk and other enabling functions to support effective delivery.
Work closely with teams supporting executive meetings to ensure deadlines and expectations are clearly understood and met.
What we're looking for
Experience in a PMO, Transformation Office or portfolio-level change environment.
Strong data management, analysis and reporting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience producing executive-level reporting for senior stakeholders.
Good understanding of governance frameworks, project lifecycles and quality assurance processes.
Confidence working with PMO tools and portfolio reporting platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
