*We’re Hiring – Head Coach at The Project PT, Botley and Magdalen Rd Gym*
We’re looking for a passionate and community-minded *Head* *Coach* to join our team at *The Project PT, Multi-site. Botley and Magdalen Road*
You’ll have a *keen interest in strength training, cardio, and rehabilitation*, and a genuine commitment to helping people who might not usually feel comfortable in a gym feel supported, confident, and part of our community.
You will have a desire to build your own business within The Project PT slowly progressing to building a client base of over 30 hours per week. With an OTE of over £50k a year.
You will work across 5 days per week, with a mix of shift work paid at an hourly rate and PT work paid at a 50/50 split. We will look to slowly decrease your shifts as your PT work picks up, allowing you to focus on delivering fantastic sessions and earning more money.
*About the Role*
As a Coach at The Project PT, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting new clients through their *onboarding process*, including *1:1 introductions and goal-setting sessions*.
* Building a PT Client base, without the need to drive your own leads.
* *Coaching group classes* across strength training, cardio, and boxfit.
* Maintaining a *clean, tidy, and safe gym environment*, following all *health and safety* procedures.
* Providing *1:1 and group mentoring* for *young people vulnerable to child criminal exploitation*, helping them build confidence, structure, and positive connections through physical activity.
* Representing our values of *kindness, inclusivity, community, and impact* in everything you do.
* If Qualified you will have the option to deliver Sports Massage Sessions too.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
✅ Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)
✅ Up-to-date *First Aid certification*
✅ *Enhanced DBS check* (completed by ourselves)
✅Must have over 3 years experience coaching 1:1 clients.

* *Qualifications - The Project PT *delivers 3 CPD qualifications to coaches throughout the year, this will fall on your shift hours and open you lots of opportunities to grow your skills.
* *Management growth - *Our current cluster manager started with us 4 years ago as a part-time coach. We truly believe in developing our team and working on their own personal strengths.
