Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Fylde & Blackpool
Salary: Up to £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time

As part of our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care, we are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Team Leader to join our team.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring effective service delivery, safeguarding, and the positive development of the children and young people in our care. You will lead, guide, and support a team of residential care workers, contributing to the smooth running of the home while promoting a culture of warmth, consistency, and respect.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to care staff.
* Ensure care practices consistently meet the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare.
* Support the emotional, social, and educational development of the children/young people.
* Help plan, organise, and oversee shifts and daily routines.
* Act as a positive role model for both staff and young people.
* Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reports as required.
* Support management in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, with the confidence and experience to lead a team effectively.
Essential:
* Experience working in a children’s residential care setting.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or a commitment to work towards this.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a senior or team leader role.
* Full UK driving licence.
