Role: Teacher of Girls PE (Years 11‑16)
As a Teacher of Girls PE, you will be responsible for:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, challenging PE lessons to girls across Key Stage 3 (Years 7‑9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10‑11).
* Teaching a diverse range of sports and activities, including netball, hockey, gymnastics, dance, athletics, and more.
* Contributing to the extra‑curricular sports programme, running clubs, and coaching school teams.
* Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
* Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity among students.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Proven recent experience teaching Physical Education to the 11‑16 age range, specifically girls PE.
* A thorough knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum and assessment methods.
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
