Business Development Executive - McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic Location:Glasgow, Edinburgh & surrounding areas (Ideal postcode EH28) Permanent, Full time Salary £30-33k per annum plus performance related bonus, company car & fuel card Working as a Business Development Executive with McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic you will manage the delivery of Carlsberg Britvic products into the food service channel within your region. The purpose of the role is to generate sales growth by improving distribution for Carlsberg Britvic brands, leveraging relationships with contacts across national contract caterers and medium sized regional accounts, predominately across workplace, healthcare and education sites. In this role as Business Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic share of the soft drinks category within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will be responsible for sales of a fantastic portfolio of Carlsberg Britvic products, including Pepsi Max, 7Up, Lipton, Tango, Robinson’s, Rockstar, and Jimmy's, by maximising brand availability and visibility in food service outlets At Carlsberg Britvic, we’re on a journey to become the most dynamic soft drinks company. In this role as Business Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic share of the soft drinks category within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will be responsible for sales of a fantastic portfolio of Carlsberg Britvic products, including Pepsi Max, 7Up, Lipton, Tango, Robinson’s, Rockstar, and Jimmy's, by maximising brand availability and visibility in food service outlets The role involves building strong business relationships with catering managers and key decision makers across your sites in addition to working closely with your colleagues and Carlsberg Britvic Business Managers to identify new opportunities and maximise brand visibility and availability at point of purchase. You will already have some direct appointment based sales experience ideally gained within a food service sales role or similar channel where you can demonstrate your initiative, resilience and results. This is a field based role and requires a manual driving licence and offers a unique opportunity to join this exciting partnership. We will equip you with the necessary tools, training, and support to succeed. Conducting a minimum of 5 calls per day, you will be responsible for your own appointment making and be confident in managing your own diary. This won't be your first selling role and ideally you will also come from a Food Service or Catering background. Alternatively convenience channel experience would be benefical but is not essential. You are eager to win, championing our brands and putting consumers at the heart of everything you do. What You Bring: Previous experience in direct sales ideally within Foodservice or FMCG. Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational, planning, and administrative abilities. Self-motivation, resilience, and the energy to act quickly and deliver results. IT and social media literacy. A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork. Essentials: Full, valid manual driving licence. Eligibility to work in the UK. Based within a 60-minute commute of the role’s location. I f this role quenches your thirst, don't miss out!
