Are you organised and enjoy administrative tasks? Do you want to be part of a team, providing administration support as staff and volunteers raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society? In this role you will provide key day‑to‑day administrative support such as sending and receiving emails, using the telephone and engaging with supporters. You will research information, update databases and promote fundraising activities in the community. The role requires a commitment of 3–5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Receive and send mail and make telephone calls.
* Update the fundraising supporter database and engage with existing supporters.
* Research the local community for potential new supporters, including community groups, companies and educational establishments.
* Share information and promote local fundraising activities in the community, both virtually and in person.
Qualifications
* You are friendly, approachable and enthusiastic about fundraising and engaging with the community.
* Proactive, flexible and enjoy being part of a team.
* Confident using computers, including Microsoft packages, and talking to people on the telephone.
* Having experience working or volunteering in an administrative role, or looking to develop your administrative skills.
* Over the age of 16.
