Key responsibilities
* Working in a home which supports children with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Global Delay, and many other special needs.
* Lead and manage the home and its staff team to provide exceptional care and support for children with mental health needs.
* Ensure that the home complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children Home Regulations.
* Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for children.
* Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of care and support plans for each child, tailored to their individual needs.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home, including safeguarding practices.
* Manage the budget for the home effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Manager/Deputy in a similar setting.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in residential childcare.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Passion for working with children and young people.
