Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for Clinical Practice Educator to deliver training and education across the Care Directorate.
Main duties of the job
As Clinical Practice Educator, you will:
* Support the development and delivery of an education plan that supports Acorns strategy and workforce development
* Work with clinical teams to ensure clinical competency and skills development to support delivery of evidence-based care
* Develop, deliver and evaluate digital and face-to-face learning packages
* Act as a central point of contact to universities to enable student placements
* Maintain own clinical skills through identified learning opportunities
* Act as a resuscitation officer for Acorns
About You
* Registered Healthcare Professional
* Experience of creating, delivering and evaluating clinical training activities using blended learning
* Knowledge of safeguarding children
* IT literate

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered healthcare professional, Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Recognised qualification in education/teaching
Experience
* Experience of creating, delivering and evaluating clinical training, knowledge of safeguarding children
* Advanced respiratory skills, experience of paediatric palliative care
