Overview
The HR Business Partner working with senior leaders and their large organizations is responsible for partnering with the organization to identify, develop and deploy talent strategies to drive growth and organizational effectiveness. Talent is the biggest priority for this role.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies and activities that enable commercial growth, innovation and overall organizational effectiveness. Additionally, the HRBP will drive corporate-led initiatives, communicate how programs fit within the business and HR strategy, and collaborate with senior leaders across boundaries, geographies and HR Centers of Expertise including talent acquisition, talent management and Total Rewards.
Responsibilities
* Deeply understands current and future talent within assigned business area or function; spends time with top talent and ensures top players are deployed and low performers addressed.
* Proactively consults with VP or Sr Director HR and assigned leaders in areas of organization design and succession/development to advance future capabilities and growth of leaders and key talent.
* Regularly develops, monitors and updates workforce plans in partnership with assigned business leaders, talent management and talent acquisition to ensure robust talent pipelines.
* Collaborates with HR domains outside of HRBP to deliver solutions for assigned areas.
* Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with leaders and talent management to identify and act on gaps in capability or team effectiveness.
* Anticipates changing market trends and leverages best practice and COE insights to influence the HR agenda.
* May lead or support the implementation of business-specific projects and initiatives to deliver on business requirements and outcomes.
* Viewed as a business partner, change agent, and member of the line leadership staff.
* Provides counsel and coaching to leadership and manages overall business relationships on behalf of HR.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience working with commercial organizations and well-versed in sales incentive compensation.
* Proven ability to translate changing business objectives into effective HR strategies; experience in Organization Design, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion and Change Management.
