Our public sector client are looking for Vehicle Passenger Assistants to join them on a long-term, on-going temporary basis.
Location: Melton Mowbray, Nailstone, Blaby, Sapcote, Croft
Hours: 2hrs AM & 2hrs PM (ADHOC, flexible schedule)
Pay: £12.27 per hour
DBS: Enhanced DBS required (reimbursed after 6 weeks)
We’re hiring Vehicle Passenger Assistants to support vulnerable service users on their journeys across Leicestershire. This is meaningful, long-term work helping people get where they need to go safely and with dignity.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
* Assist passengers on/off the vehicle and safely secure them, including wheelchair users
* Support with fitting/removing specialist seating as needed
* Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and personal belongings are protected
* Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers and staff
* Report incidents or issues promptly and accurately
* Support depot staff with loading/unloading goods when required
