Job Summary
Experienced engineering position, under minimal supervision, participating in designing, building, and maintaining software used in medical devices and engineering projects related to medical technology. Applies standard engineering practices to resolve problems of mid to high complexity. May assist and mentor less experienced engineers.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $115,000 - $131,000 per year. The position is eligible for a bonus plan with a target of 8% of the base salary. Final pay depends on experience, education, skills, and abilities. Our benefits are comprehensive, supporting healthy lives and providing support when needed.

Responsibilities
* Plan, design, execute, document, and analyze software engineering process automation within established medical product design controls.
* Investigate and recommend new technologies, processes, and best practices. Understand theories and practices across disciplines to identify risks, requirements, and architectural components.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to improve software engineering efficiency.
* Resolve and lead others in resolving software automation defects.
* Perform root cause and failure analysis, and convene design reviews as needed.
* Support Linux and Windows systems for development and testing teams.
* Provide operational support to IT.
* Develop tools and automation software for verification and validation of products.
* Assist with project scheduling and tracking.
* Mentor junior staff.
* Validate development tools.
* Organize and maintain technical records and documentation.
* Collaborate on cybersecurity vulnerability resolution.
* Use tools to trace tests to requirements and update documentation accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and SOPs for design verification and validation.
Minimum Requirements
The following are required or preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
* 5+ years in software engineering, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
* Experience with Agile methodologies (plus).
* Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP (plus).
* Knowledge of SDLC, verification, and medical device regulations (plus).
* Team collaboration skills.
* Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
* Experience with virtual environments like VMWare.
* Knowledge of source control tools like Git/Bitbucket.
* Attention to detail and methodical approach.
* Excellent communication skills.
