About Longridge House Boasting 21 bedrooms, two exclusive cottages, three event spaces, two bars, and a restaurant, Longridge House will be a premier destination for high-end weddings and bespoke events, as well as offering exceptional dining and hotel experiences that match the elegance and charm of the venue. The Role As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team at Longridge House, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all food services. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring consistently exceptional food across the restaurant, weddings, and events. Key Responsibilities Pre-Opening: Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled kitchen team. Establish kitchen procedures, food safety standards, and supplier relationships. Work alongside senior leadership to position Longridge House as a standout culinary destination. Post-Opening: Lead the kitchen team in delivering outstanding food across restaurant, weddings, and private events. Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all dishes. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety. Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency. Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. About You Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or events venue. Strong leadership and team development skills. A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and consistency. Experience managing kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier negotiations. Why Join Us?
