We at The Best Connection are working with a fast-growing logistics and transport Company dedicated to delivering exceptional service across our network. We are currently seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Transport Administrator to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily transport schedules, driver routes, and delivery times
Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, driver hours, and transport documentation
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments
Process delivery notes, manifests, and compliance paperwork
Monitor fleet compliance, including MOT, servicing, and maintenance scheduling
Assist in resolving transport-related queries and operational issues
Update internal systems with real-time delivery and vehicle information
Support the Transport Manager with reporting and administrative tasks
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a similar administrative role (preferred)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
Competent IT skills, including MS Office and transport management systems
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Knowledge of transport legislation, driver hours, and compliance (advantageous)
