We currently have 4 vacant shifts:
Tuesday 3:50-7:30
Wednesday 4-8:30
Friday 4-7:45
Sunday 9-11:30

Nottingham City Gymnastics was established in 2009. Over the past 13 years the club has grown significantly. The club now has over 1000 members and runs 7 days a week across three different venues.

Class Lead Gymnastics Coach
Job Description Title: Class Lead
Salary: Up to £15 per hour Dependent on experience and qualifications
Hours: The role is part time; 6+ hours per week between Monday-Sunday (days and times to be mutually agreed with successful candidates.
Responsible to: Supervising Gymnastics Coach
Responsible for: Assistant coach / Young Leaders
Job Purpose
To ensure the delivery of a fun, safe, interactive, inspiring and nurturing gymnastics activity programme. Work with your small team of 2/3 coaches and Young Leaders to deliver a consistently excellent and active session at all levels following the NCGC curriculum.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Register and disperse gymnasts. Welcome them as they arrive and build a positive rapport with both gymnast and parents
* Ensure all gymnasts are suitably physically and mentally prepared for their session
* Make sure equipment stations are set up and suitability ready for the gymnasts, including side stations to ensure gymnasts remain active throughout the session
* Split the gymnasts into suitable working groups based on age, experience, ability and social groups.
* Ensure the assistant coaches know the plan for the session and are following the NCGC curriculum.
* Distribute Young Leaders to help with the most appropriate group. Ensure they are given a task to help with so they too have a quality experience.
* Where required seek support from the supervising coach and feedback any issues or challenges which may arise.
Class Lead Gymnastics Coach Essential Qualifications / Experience required
* Enhanced DBS approved and current, or ability to complete process.
* Minimum Level 1 British Gymnastics General/Gymnastics for all qualification or equivalent or working towards.
* Child protection qualification
* First aid certificate
* Minimum 1 years' experience of coaching within a recreational gymnastics' environment, working with pre-school and senior gymnasts, from beginner to intermediate level.
* Proven ability to work with, inspire and motivate all levels and ages of gymnast.
* Proven ability to work with, inspire and motivate coaches.
* Be able to lead and motivate a small team.
* Ability and flexibility to cover additional sessions as and when required e.g. holiday programme.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
* Have a calm, positive, confident and outgoing personality.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
