Senior/Principal Associate - Commercial - Cardiff - 7+ Years PQE

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000
A leading commercial law firm is seeking a Senior or Principal Associate with 7+ years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Commercial team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major UK businesses, contribute to a nationally recognised practice, and play a key role in the team's continued growth.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a broad and high quality caseload of commercial work, including:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
* Advising clients on commercial law, IP, data protection, and e commerce
* Delivering training and presentations to clients and internal teams
* Supporting corporate transactions with commercial, IP, and IT expertise
* Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to provide strategic legal input
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
* 7+ years PQE in commercial law
* Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
* Excellent drafting, communication, and problem solving skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
* A client focused approach and commitment to high professional standards
* Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
