Under the supervision of the Poker supervisors and Poker Manager, the Poker Dealer interacts directly with poker guests, providing information, starting, and maintaining games. The Dealer will deal all games as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
1. Deal all Poker games as assigned by the Shift Manager.
2. Conduct poker games in a fair, upbeat manner ensuring game security.
3. Provide information and answer questions for guests about games in progress, games offered, tournaments, and promotions.
4. Greet guests and assist the Poker Supervisor or Shift Manager with seating guests.
5. Participate as a count team member, if needed.
6. Participate in the table drop, if needed.
7. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
8. Adhere to New Hampshire cardroom regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies and procedures.
9. Maintain a clean casino environment, free of tripping/falling hazards.
Qualifications
* 21 years of age or older.
* Professional demeanor with good communication skills.
* Knowledge of poker and ability to pass an audition.
* Strong math skills; cash handling and chip handling experience preferred.
* Willing to participate in training as required.
* Reliable transportation to and from work.
* Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications, including a valid New Hampshire Lottery license.
* Available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
* Lift or carry 20 pounds unassisted.
* Frequent reaching and leaning.
* Access to the entire casino environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Prolonged walking, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Work indoors, exposed to noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and other environmental factors.
