Service Delivery Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Service Delivery Engineer to join our team. As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects to a defined scope, quality, cost, and timescale for outcome success.
Main Responsibilities:
* Engage with clients to determine their technology requirements.
* Work with clients to deliver projects within specified parameters.
* Clarify client system specifications, understand working practices, and the nature of the customers' business.
* Liaise with staff at all levels within client organisations - good stakeholder management is essential.
* Develop new technologies and implement them.
* Present solutions in clear and consistent written or oral reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Design, test, install, and monitor systems during the project phase.
* Prepare documentation and present progress reports to clients following implementation.
You will be technically proficient in the following areas:
Tech Requirements:
* Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 Cloud, Exchange Online, and SQL.
* Azure AD, Intune, Power Apps would be advantageous.
* Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy.
* Virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V or VMware.
* Network hardware, including Routers, Firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi (Vendor Neutral).
* Storage, including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
* Mobile Device Management, Security products.
* Backup and DR technologies with a strong understanding of BCP.
