This part-time position (21.5 hours) is based at Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely, with the option for home working as part of a hybrid role.The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) brings together specialist health and social care services for people with a learning disability.The successful candidates will contribute to this unique model of practice as part of an integrated team alongside Health and Social Care Practitioners such as Adult Support Co-ordinators, Social Workers, Community Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrist, Speech and Language Therapists and Art / Music Therapists.The LDP are currently working to a hybrid model in line with our service needs. Following an induction period, our Social Workers will work from the office up to three days each week. This gives our Social Workers a quiet space and plenty of time for reflection whilst still balancing collaborative working across the multi-disciplinary team and peer support. It has also increased our Social Workers autonomy and has had a positive impact on wellbeing and work-life balance.Cambridgeshire County Council has adopted a new approach to social work and social care to make it increasingly proactive, preventative, and personalised.
