Programme Manager - 8 month contract - within IR35
£700 - 800 a day
Hybrid - with some requirement to travel to client site - Scotland/ Yorkshire
We are looking for Programme Manager with experience of the NIS (Network Information Systems) regulatory compliance roadmap and CAF (Cyber Assessment framework). You will have experience of working with in the Utilities, Energy &/or Power industry and have managed/delivered large programmes of work. You will have experience of managing 12 + reports through matrix management as well as delivering 100's of projects with in the programme of work.
You will have experience of delivering complex programme of projects to the agreed time, cost and ensuring standards and best practices are adhered to - 2/300 Porjects, and working with business sponsors and stakeholders to define how the programme/ projects will be delivered and methodology to be used. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the programme/ project delivery through to handing over to business as usual and eeffcitvely managing; assigned resource, approved suppliers, allocated budgets and financial approval process.
Experience reqired:
* Work with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
* Matrix management of assigned programme/project resources motivating delivery and to a high standard
* Management and governance of programme budgets
* Management of Project Managers to ensure project delivery is on time and budget, ensuring project governance is adhered to
* Management of Projects to time and budget (when appropriate)
* Risk and Change management
* Clear communication of progress and obstacles for delivery
* Ensure all projects within the Network and Information Systems programme align to High Level EP plans and deliver on time and budget, with deviation managed through appropriate governance
* Ensure that requirements consider the Ofgem Guidance issued within the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) overlay associated with the Contributing Outcome and Indicators of Good Practice that projects are seeking to satisfy, whilst ensuring that they align to business outcomes, by working closely with stakeholders and analysts to identify, agree/challenge the scope and critical purpose of the project
* Working with peers to make best use of available resources according to priority and need.
* adhere to project governance process and procedures, identifying and communicating improvements to drive delivery efficiency.
