Job Title: Senior Nuclear Training Specialist
Location: Kirkby, United Kingdom. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements; please discuss options with your recruiter.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and delivering nuclear training packages tailored to your area of expertise, ensuring they meet programme, business, and customer requirements, including providing expert guidance on training assets.
* Supporting the development of training assets outside your specialism to enhance the quality of nuclear safety training.
* Engaging with external partners, especially Defence Nuclear Organisations, to develop nuclear skills and capabilities.
* Ensuring compliance with governance, administration, and assurance policies for nuclear training.
* Leading the development and delivery of nuclear training, while maintaining your nuclear competence through secondments to various nuclear departments such as build, test, commissioning, and regulatory interfaces.
Your skills and experiences:
* Knowledge of nuclear systems and safety compliance, particularly related to the build environment of Nuclear Submarines.
* Qualifications and experience in developing and delivering training for diverse audiences.
* Strong leadership, management, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

The Nuclear Discipline, Skills and Capability Department:
This role is part of a new team focused on training, compliance, and ensuring a resilient nuclear business. The team is based in Barrow-in-Furness and collaborates across engineering and manufacturing departments, engaging with senior nuclear leadership. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates.
