We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Commercial Manager to support a high-profile programme within the UK Defence and Intelligence community.
This is a customer-facing role requiring strong commercial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate effectively within highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial engagement with customers and key stakeholders across the UK Defence and Intelligence sector.
* Manage complex commercial arrangements and contracts with UK Government and MOD organisations.
* Support contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and change control activities.
* Negotiate and agree commercial terms and conditions, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and compliance.
* Provide commercial guidance to programme, delivery, and leadership teams.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior MOD and customer stakeholders.
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks while supporting programme objectives.
Essential Experience
* Current Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance – active and transferable.
* Extensive experience in a customer-facing commercial management role.
* Strong understanding of complex UK MOD contracting environments.
* Demonstrable experience engaging with senior MOD stakeholders and government customers.
* Proven track record negotiating commercial terms, conditions, and contractual frameworks.
* Experience managing commercial risk within large-scale Defence, Intelligence, or National Security programmes.
* Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Desirable
* Experience within the UK Intelligence Community or highly classified Defence programmes.
* Knowledge of public sector procurement and government commercial frameworks.
* Familiarity with technology, digital, systems integration, or managed service contracts.
