Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and inspiring Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our network and support staff and students across secondary schools in Gateshead.
About the Role:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students
* Supporting class teachers with day-to-day learning activities and classroom routines
* Creating a motivating and productive classroom environment
* Collaborating and working closely with teachers to tailor individual student support
* Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom
Requirements of the Role:
* A relevant degree and excellent surrounding subject knowledge
* Previous classroom experience in supporting students (desirable but not essential)
* Excellent communication skills
* Can maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
