East Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Plasterer on a 3-month temporary contract, with a view to extending. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with an hourly rate of up to £25 per hour via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within social housing and hold a relevant NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Carrying out general reactive plastering, skimming ceilings, hacking off and damp course then re-skimming on void social housing properties
2. Carrying out associated secondary trade activities
3. Contributing to the delivery of high levels of customer service and the achievement of operational KPIs for a first-time fix
4. Assessing risks prior to carrying out work and abide by appropriate Health and Safety measures
5. Getting involved in any other multi-trade tasks that may arise as required
Expertise required:
6. Ideally have experience within social housing
7. Extensive experience of plastering, and other trades works
Working hours:
8. 37 hours per week
9. Monday – Friday
