The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of site equipment and operational systems.The position involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automated equipment and machineryDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficientlyRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtimeSupport site improvement and engineering projectsLiaise with third-party contractors and service providers when requiredAssist in maintaining site facilities and operational equipment standardsThis role is physically active and will require prolonged periods of standing and walking, alongside occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined areas.Skills & Experience Required Recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience within an engineering or maintenance environmentExperience working with automated handling or conveyor systemsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-moving environmentDesirable IOSH, NEBOSH, or similar health & safety certificationExperience supporting or coordinating engineering teamsExposure to continuous improvement or automation projectsINDSWTPBN1_UKTJ
