The role
As a Procurement Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of an incredible, diverse, and inclusive team of talented professionals, bringing specialist knowledge, management skills, and technical expertise across a wide range of products, technologies, and collaborative solutions—supporting both our internal and external customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll be accountable for the supply chain design, sourcing, contracting and procurement of materials and services to meet project objectives for cost, schedule and quality. Additionally, you will:
1. Capture specific project requirements and incorporate them into supply chain planning
2. Design supply chains to meet project demands while maximising performance and minimising risk and complexity
3. Manage sourcing and tendering processes in alignment with agreed project deliverables
4. Ensure all technical and quality requirements are fully met and that all materials and services are delivered in accordance with project schedules
5. Lead a team of Procurement Manager Contracts, overseeing their performance and supporting their professional development
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Procurement Manager
6. Experienced procurement practitioner with deep knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques
7. Extensive experience in complex project environments
8. A proven track record of delivering high-performing supply chain outcomes
Qualifications for the Procurement Manager
9. Either qualified to degree level or possessing equivalent experience
10. MCIPS certified or working towards MCIPS (or an equivalent professional qualification)
