About the job
The Pre-Sales team is looking for a Pre-Sales Advisor-Fraud to provide specialized customer advisory in the areas of fraud within the Government, Commercial, and Manufacturing sectors. You will work with leading industry companies to support the opportunity lifecycle, focusing on building trusted relationships with key business and IT stakeholders, advising on technology, and providing best practices in fraud areas such as Payment Integrity, Know Your Supplier, Spend Optimization, and Healthcare Fraud.
As a Pre-Sales Advisor-Fraud, you will:
1. Support the growth of SAS’s fraud footprint in Northern Europe
2. Create compelling presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and RFP responses to drive opportunities
3. Evaluate customers’ current fraud programs and advise on strategic roadmaps
4. Collaborate with experts to deliver an optimal customer experience
5. Present at and attend industry conferences to expand your network
6. Develop and implement demos or PoCs using SAS software
7. Design reusable assets like advisory materials, fraud assessments, and accelerators
8. Contribute to the global SAS Fraud community by sharing domain expertise and emerging trends
Required Qualifications
1. At least five years of experience in sales, business development, or technical roles within the technology industry
2. Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
3. Experience in fraud through presales, sales engineering/support, or as a practitioner; certifications like ACFE, ACAMS are a plus
4. Strong business, thought leadership, and interpersonal skills
5. Experience engaging with diverse profiles and presenting at various levels
6. Ability to learn and explain various technologies and analytical techniques
7. Industry experience in Government, Manufacturing, or Commercial sectors
8. Curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable attitude
Preferred Qualifications
1. Curiosity about evolving fraud techniques and technologies
2. Strong presentation skills and willingness to learn new technologies
3. Comfort discussing ideas with C-Level stakeholders
4. Ability to drive opportunities towards goals
5. Willingness to travel across Northern Europe
6. Proficiency in Nordic languages is a plus
