General Manager – Retro Gaming Lounge
Location: Tenby, Pembrokeshire
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
Term: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week including evenings and weekends)Ready to level up? We're looking for a high-energy General Manager to lead our retro gaming lounge in the heart of Tenby. This isn't just a hospitality job; it's about creating an immersive, nostalgic experience where classic consoles, arcade cabinets, and great drinks collide.The RoleAs the "Player One" of our venue, you will have full P&L responsibility and total ownership of the guest experience. You'll lead a diverse team to ensure every visitor leaves with a high score and a smile.Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations, ensuring the seamless integration of gaming and bar services.
* Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team focused on exceptional guest service.
* Financial Management: Drive revenue through events and promotions while strictly controlling labor, stock, and operating costs.
* Compliance & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations (Personal Licence required).
* Event Innovation: Coordinate themed gaming nights, corporate bookings, and community tournaments to boost local engagement.
Who You Are
* Experienced: You have 3+ years of management experience in a fast-paced hospitality, leisure, or entertainment environment.
* Business Savvy: You understand the "numbers game," from weekly forecasting to long-term strategic growth.
* Passionate: You have a genuine love for gaming culture and a "guest-first" mindset.
* Local Expert: You know how to build a network within the Tenby community to make us the "place to go".
* Licensing: You must have or be eligible for a Personal License. The candidate will be expected to complete an alcohol licensing course including a DBS check.
