Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimize trading algorithms, order execution systems, and real-time data processing tools using Python to support front office trading strategies.
* Work closely with traders and quant teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and enhance the trading platform’s functionality and performance.
* Focus on improving system performance, minimizing latency, and ensuring high availability of trading systems, with a strong emphasis on efficient Python coding practices.
* Develop tools for real-time monitoring, risk assessment, and analytics, ensuring the systems can handle large volumes of market data and provide timely insights to the trading desk.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science or STEM based subjects.
* 2+ years of experience in a relevant role such as Python Software Engineer or Quant Developer.
* Proficiency in modern software development practices, including version control and agile development methodologies.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing.
* Demonstrated enthusiasm for ongoing learning and a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies.
