Knowledge of estate plant and equipment, air handling units, nurse call systems, air conditioning, and medical gas systems is essential.Relevant Legislation and Safety Certifications Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations including the Electricity at Work Act, BS 7671, Asbestos Regulations, and COSHHStrong problem solving and communication skillsElectricians play a vital role within the hospital team by embodying and supporting the shared values of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.Their work reflects compassion through ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient electrical environment for patients and staff, which is essential for effective care and recovery.
