About the role
As a kitchen porter at Auchrannie you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchens operate smoothly.
In this role you will:
* ensure the smooth and efficient operation of pot and pan washes
* ensure all crockery is handled correctly to minimise breakages
* maintain the fabric of the kitchen to a good standard and clean and hygienic at all times.
* complete thorough cleaning of all areas in the kitchen
* adhere to all Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations and standards
* carry out basic vegetable and food preparation
* manage deliveries for the kitchen
To be a good fit for this role you will:
* demonstrate some previous expereince working in a kitchen environment
* have a strong work ethic and good self drive and motivation
* enjoy working in a fast paced, varied and physical role
* have some experience of COSSH, Food Safety and Health and Safety training.
You will be working across our 2 kitchens on a rotational basis. The standard working week is an average of 40 hours over 5 days. There will be a mixture of early, late and split shifts included.
