Job description:
Operative (Reach & Counterbalance) – Temporary Position
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious FLT Operative with valid Reach and Counterbalance licences to join our client based in Washington on a full-time, temporary basis for 2 weeks’ cover.
This position is with an established international automotive organisation and would suit someone experienced in warehouse operations who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Reach and Counterbalance FLT trucks
* Load, unload, move and store stock within the warehouse
* Carry out general warehousing duties including picking, packing and stock control
* Manual handling of goods (lifting up to 15kg)
* Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping
* Follow all health & safety and company procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Reach and Counterbalance FLT licences (in-date and accredited)
* Previous warehouse experience
* Good attention to detail
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the full 2-week assignment
