We are excited to be looking for two Clinical Psychologists to join our community CAMH Service (0.8 WTE at North Stoke CAMHS; 1 WTE at South Stoke CAMHS).
If you are newly qualified or have not yet completed training, please do not exclude yourself from this role. We warmly welcome applications for a full-time Band 7 preceptorship post. The Band 7 post will progress to a Band 8a upon successful completion of targeted goals, based on acquired skills and job matching to an 8a Clinical Psychologist role.
The successful applicant will provide highly valued clinical psychology interventions and develop their psychological leadership skills through consultation and supervision within the Community CAMHS service for children, young people, and their families. The North and South Stoke CAMHS teams are multidisciplinary, offering assessment, formulation, consultation, and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex mental health and emotional wellbeing needs, including those who have experienced trauma or have attachment difficulties.
On appointment, the postholder will contribute to clinical delivery and the implementation of our Clinical Pathways, including Attachment and Trauma Pathways, with training opportunities across models such as DDP, Theraplay, NVR, DBT, and EMDR.
The postholder will utilize their specialist psychological knowledge in assessment, formulation, and evidence-based therapies (individual and group) to support our pathways, as well as provide supervision and consultation to staff as appropriate.
The Community CAMHS services are well-established, staffed with a range of professionals including a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (North Stoke), Principal Clinical Psychologist (South Stoke), Assistant Psychologists, and others. We closely liaise with various other CAMHS services and agencies to provide comprehensive care.
