Temporary Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk | Hybrid - Manchester | Up to £28K
A dynamic housing association is seeking a hands-on AP/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a temporary basis for 6 months. You will be responsible for invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and handling supplier queries—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Key Duties
* Process and code invoices in line with PO policy
* Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts
* Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
* Run weekly payments and maintain supplier records
* Support month-end processes (journals, ledger reconciliations)
* Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams
What You'll Need
* Strong AP/Purchase Ledger experience
* Proficiency in Excel and finance systems
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Housing or public sector experience is a plus
* AAT (part-qualified) is advantageous
