A welcoming and inclusive school in Clacton is seeking a dedicated SEN TA – Clacton to join their team with an immediate start after February half term. The successful SEN TA – Clacton will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide structured 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. This role offers valuable hands-on experience for anyone looking to progress further within education and training, particularly those considering teacher training, psychology or specialist SEN pathways.
As a SEN TA – Clacton, you will play a key role in implementing EHCP strategies, adapting classroom materials and promoting positive behaviour through consistent routines. The school is looking for someone resilient, nurturing and confident in behaviour management who understands the importance of inclusive education and training environments.
This SEN TA – Clacton position would suit someone with previous experience in schools, care or youth work who is ready to make an immediate impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
2. Implementing EHCP strategies and adapting classroom resources
3. Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
4. Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and parents
Essential Skills & Experience:
