Remote Solution Architect - Java, AWS, AI/ML
Salary - £100,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits
Location - London, Remote (once a month)
We’re excited to be partnering with a leading FinTech scale-up that’s redefining standards in its industry.
With ambitious growth plans to expand its platform and support a rapidly growing international client base, this role is critical to shaping the company’s technical and strategic future.
We’re hiring a Solution Architect with deep expertise in microservices, AWS cloud technologies, and financial systems. This is a key opportunity to help design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions in a dynamic, agile environment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to drive impactful change.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
* Design scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures on AWS
* Develop and implement effective API strategies and system integrations
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the development lifecycle
Required Skills
* Solid experience with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Spring Boot, Java, Python)
* Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services – including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM
* Strong experience working with Kafka for event-driven and streaming systems
* Proficiency in API development, RESTful principles, and using API management platforms
* Demonstrated success delivering solutions in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Bonus Skills
* Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including experience with Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock
* Understanding of deploying, managing, and integrating ML models within production systems
