We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Supervising Social Worker to join a supportive and well-established Fostering Team in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area. Responsibilities:
* Assessing and supporting prospective foster carers
* Providing ongoing supervision and support to foster carers
* Supporting children and young people in placement
* Building effective partnerships with external agencies and professionals
* Undertaking out-of-area assessments and visits as required
To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:
* Recognised Diploma/Degree in Social Work
* Social Work England registration
* A minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience
* Strong knowledge of Fostering Services National Minimum Standards and Regulations
* Experience completing Form C and Form F assessments
* A flexible, motivated, and collaborative approach to practice
