Biology Graduate What the Role Involves As a Biology Graduate, your responsibilities will include: Supporting teaching and learning in the biology department. Assisting in the delivery of small group interventions. Contributing to classroom management and pupil engagement. Providing 1:1 or small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Biology Graduate What the School is Looking For The ideal candidate will: Hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Biology from a top 30 UK university. Have previous experience working with children, particularly in educational settings. Demonstrate a proactive, compassionate, and committed approach to supporting students. Exhibit strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop professionally. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Biology Graduate Salary and Contract Info Academic Mentor roles: £450£530 per week, pro rata to term time only. Contract: Full-time, long-term (SeptemberJuly), term-time only. Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement.
