Main duties of the job
Position: Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Hours: 16 - 20 hours per week (negotiable)
Days: Monday (fixed), remaining days negotiable
Salary: Competitive, with potential for training and development opportunities
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality clinical care, with a focus on minor illness for all patient groups including the frail elderly, children, those who are vulnerable with mental health challenges and learning disability.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage same-day presentations including minor illness and acute conditions
* Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients independently
* Confidently manage complex patients
* Prescribe safely and in line with current guidance
* Conduct occasional home visits as needed
* Be aware of and support chronic disease management and QOF reviews
* Support supervision and development of students and colleagues
* Participate in audits, CPD, governance, and practice meetings

o WEB PCN ARRS team including pharmacy technicians, visiting paramedic, social prescribers, and HeadsUp mental health team for children
