What you’ll be doing
as a Performance Manager:
1. Process Management ensures site compliance and that he site achieves and maintains its required plant availability and reliability to meet quality targets at the agreed cost.
2. Financial Management, owning and managing the budgetary and financial activities of the team and driving efficiencies into the overall operational budget.
3. Performance Management, ensuring the team achieves optimal performance in terms of work management, and you will be responsible for developing the team and introducing new skills and health and safety awareness.
4. Customer & Stakeholder Management, ensuring exceptional service to our customers with early personal interventions as required.
5. Health and Safety,y you will effectively lead the health and safety culture of the teamm as well as auditing the health and safety systems and processes
Base location: Riverside – Rainham, Essex - RM13 8QS
Working pattern or hours: 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
What you should bring to the role?
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
6. Previous experience managing operational staff with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
7. Previous experience in a people-manager role with a proven track record of engaging and developing a team, ideally with field-based members.
8. Proven ability to take the lead and achieve results in a difficult environment.
9. Strong focus on and good working knowledge of health and safety.
10. Experience managing the operational budget with a structured and proactive approach.
11. You will need to be competent in using IT equipment/systems and be able to interpret complex Excel spreadsheets.
12. Due to the nature of this role, a full, valid driving licence is essential.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
13. Ideally, your technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles will be underpinned by a background in wastewater.
