Process Safety Engineer - Chemicals Manufacturing - Teesside - Permanent Staff - £55-65k + benefits
We're recruiting Process Safety Engineer on behalf of a leading European chemical manufacturing group.
The role offers clear ownership of process safety at site level, with a defined development pathway into a group role, where you will help drive process safety improvements across up to seven European sites.
You will act as the site owner for process safety, with the autonomy to shape systems, lead studies and deliver meaningful improvements in an upper tier COMAH-regulated environment. As you develop in the role, your remit will expand to support and influence process safety performance at a group level.
About You
*
Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering or similar
*
Strong experience in process safety within COMAH, consultancy, or chemical manufacturing
*
Confident taking ownership, influencing stakeholders and driving change
*
Motivated by progression into a broader regional or group-level role
