About the Role
Join a leading Big 4 consulting firm’s Financial Services Advisory practice and help drive meaningful change for clients in the insurance sector. As a Finance Transformation Manager, you will lead and deliver complex transformation projects, working closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that optimise financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership:
Lead a workstream within a major finance transformation programme, managing deliverables, budgets, and interdependencies.
* Team Development:
Coach and mentor junior team members and act as a performance manager for 3–5 individuals.
* Client Engagement:
Support senior stakeholders in managing client relationships and contribute to business development, including pitch presentations.
* Risk & Governance:
Ensure robust risk management on engagements and proactively escalate issues with proposed solutions.
* Practice Growth:
Contribute to the development of the firm’s Finance Transformation offering by staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
About You
Essential:
* Strong understanding of insurance industry trends, finance architecture, data, processes, and regulatory landscape.
* Experience in finance process improvement and automation.
* Familiarity with finance transformation technologies (e.g., ERP systems, data analytics, cloud platforms).
* Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
* Accountancy qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
* Extensive experience in finance transformation consulting.
* Delivery experience in areas such as Finance Strategy & Vision, Regulatory Change, or Finance Systems.
