As Head of Department, you will provide strategic leadership, manage staff performance, and ensure high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Computer Science department, including curriculum development, resources, and teaching strategies. Deliver high-quality lessons and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement. Monitor and evaluate student progress, using data to inform improvement plans. Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and uphold the school's ethos and values. What We're Looking For Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in a relevant subject. Experience: Proven track record of outstanding Computer Science teaching. Successful experience teaching at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in leading and managing staff performance. Skills & Attributes: Strong organisational and leadership skills.
