Relief Support Workers, Support Workers & Senior Support Workers | Short Breaks Service Please note below the nature and pattern of this role: Wheatfield Short Break Service is for short breaks (respite as family and Trust refer to). This role will include 24 hour cover daily, waking night shifts, day shifts (apart from when people we support are at day centre or school), weekends, designated holidays and weekdays. To be successful in this role,youllneed: Support Worker Essential Criteria Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone? This can include experience such as caring or supporting a child, family member, relation or friend, OR volunteering or completing a work placement where you provided care or support. Ability to travel independently (car driver with a clean driving license or access to a form of transport which meet the demands of post) Senior Support Worker Essential Criteria At least 6 months paid experience supporting people in a health and social care or community setting. Ability to travel independently (car driver with a clean driving license or access to a form of transport which meet the demands of post) Senior Support Worker Desirable Criteria Previousexperience using a person-centred support plan to support someone with a learning disability,acquiredbrain injury or autism within a health and social care or community setting QCF / NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent* Consideration will be given to candidates who do notpossessthis qualification but are willing to undertake the QCF qualification within an agreed timescale.
