YOUR ROLE Step into the world of finance as our Credit Controller, where you'll be the linchpin in our cash flow and debt management. With a great collection system at your fingertips, you'll tackle customer communications with finesse, oversee significant customs debt, and make impactful decisions to keep our finances robust. Your voice will guide multiple customer interactions daily, ensuring clarity and precision in every exchange. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the charge in executing statement and final demand runs, ensuring our financial communications are timely and accurate. Tackle invoice queries with a problem-solving mindset, documenting and managing them to efficient resolutions. Collaborate in monthly debt reviews, working with key departments to dissect high-value disputes and streamline invoice accuracy. Assess accounts for potential legal proceedings, taking proactive steps to safeguard the company's financial interests. Monitor and manage unallocated cash, ensuring every pound is meticulously accounted for and properly allocated. Produce detailed monthly aged reports for UK branches, highlighting accounts that demand your expert analysis and action. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Proven experience in credit control or related financial roles. Strong communication skills, capable of managing a high volume of calls and correspondence. Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and data management. Analytical skills to review financial statements and identify discrepancies. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams to resolve complex queries. Competence in monitoring cash flow and managing debt recovery processes.
