We’re seeking a diligent, proactive, hands-on Marketing Communications Executive to join our Marketing team.
Responsibilities
* External marketing communications: assist in developing high-quality communication strategies and messaging plans.
* Write, edit, proofread and produce content reflecting the brand identity, including quarterly client communication, brochureware, sales aids, email marketing, event material, and presentations.
* Write communications such as letters and announcements to clients, advisers and other contacts as required.
* Manage and produce content for digital channels, campaigns, website and social media to drive lead generation, brand awareness and engagement.
* Design creative assets (with designers where necessary) in line with brand guidelines for digital and internal/external communication.
* Assist in external content creation such as press releases and articles.
* Provide copy for other Marketing team members and work to their briefs.
* Support marketing campaigns by coordinating creative assets and contributing ideas.
* Assist with creating engaging content for internal communications.
* Track performance and engagement.
Award Entries
* Manage and write award entries for the business (Quilter Cheviot investment management and financial planning).
* Create and maintain an awards calendar and liaise with external providers to submit entries.
* Collate entries from individuals across the business (Quilter Cheviot investment management and financial planning).
* Follow compliance procedures and obtain relevant approvals before submission.
* Track outcomes for reporting purposes.
Client Magazine and Newsletter Production
* Assist with copywriting and production of the bi-annual client magazine.
* Create and schedule accurate, engaging long/short format content for regular newsletters, coordinating delivery with relevant teams.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
Administrative Support
* Provide support with managing the marketing mailbox and maintaining contact lists. Liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely responses to enquiries.
* Support the review of financial promotions for the business.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and creative individual with extensive experience. The role will join the existing Marketing team and cover copywriting, marketing communications and ad-hoc marketing support. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation and multitasking skills, be commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Preferably a degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or journalism.
* At least 2 years' experience in a Marketing, Copywriting, PR or Corporate Communications role.
* Excellent PowerPoint skills.
* Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) is preferable.
* Exceptional writing and storytelling with excellent attention to detail.
* Creative thinker – enjoys generating new ideas and engaging content.
* Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong administrative skills – efficient in managing tasks and organising work.
* Team player – great communication skills.
* Adaptable and eager to learn, always ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
Desirable Skills
* Degree in Marketing, English or a related field.
* Understanding of the financial services sector.
