Purpose of the Position
A key member of the C&I team for our UK Consumer Care Business, this role reports to the Category Controller and collaborates closely with the UK Commercial team and retailers to identify opportunities to grow the skincare categories aligned with business objectives. Internally, it involves partnering with UK & Global Marketing teams to uncover relevant brand & category opportunities. The focus is on transforming data insights into compelling stories that drive growth.
Minimum Requirements
* BSc/BA degree or equivalent
* 3-5 years of FMCG commercial experience
* 2-3 years in Trade Marketing or Category Management
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with Circana/Nielsen/Kantar tools
* Familiarity with SIP, Dunnhumby, Boots Gateway
* Beauty industry background preferred
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement differentiated category strategies across retail channels
* Identify and translate category and shopper trends into actionable insights
* Build and maintain relationships with trade partners
* Recommend store placements and distribution strategies
* Analyze market data and present findings to internal teams and clients
* Create trade presentations to communicate vision and strategies
* Monitor competitor activities and NPD strategies
* Share updates on category trends and developments
* Support internal processes for NPD launches and GTM planning
* Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives
