Family Support Worker – Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £21,672–£22,777 pro rata (NJC 6–8)
Hours: 37 per week, 44 weeks/year
Start date: ASAP – Permanent
The School and Role
An Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to play a key role in strengthening links between home and school. Working as part of a skilled inclusion team, you will be a trusted point of contact for families, deliver targeted interventions, and coordinate Early Help Assessments. The school places high value on emotional wellbeing, family engagement, and removing barriers to learning for all pupils.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
1. Experience supporting children and families in an educational or social care setting
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. Knowledge of safeguarding and Early Help processes
4. Confidence delivering 1:1 and group interventions
5. Strong administrative and organisational ability
6. GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) and sound ICT skills
