We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
* Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth through personalised care and guidance.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Observe, record, and assess each child's progress to inform future planning and support individual needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and teamwork.
* Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play sessions efficiently.
* Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism within the nursery setting.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to child records and programme planning as required.
* Support the implementation of policies related to safeguarding and child protection.
Experience
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
* Knowledge of childcare regulations, early childhood development principles, and best practices in nursery settings.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience with organising activities that stimulate learning through play.
