No two buildings or contracts are ever the same. As an NG Bailey apprentice you will: Train at one of the top performing colleges or training providers in the country. Learn about our award-winning approach to working safely. Work indoors, outdoors, and occasionally at height. Be prepared for early starts and travel away from home when necessary. Develop great working relationships with some of the industry’s most talented people. Have a strong support network giving you the chance to build your confidence and use your initiative. You will learn to: Follow a schedule to test and maintain all heating, ventilation and water systems correcting any faults you may find. Read and understand engineering drawings. Use the Building Management System to control and monitor the electrical, heating and ventilation systems. Use small hand tools such as hammers, saws, screwdrivers etc. Implement essential safety procedures before working on systems. Assist with minor electrical maintenance. Work with other trades and gain experience from their knowledge. Develop strong customer service and client relationship building skills. We are looking for people who: Are keen to learn. You will attend college to complete the Building Services Engineer Service and Maintenance Level 3 Apprenticeship. In addition, you will regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme. To apply you need: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English Language, Maths and Science. Grade C/4 or above in Scottish National 5 or Scottish Intermediate (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science. Please note, to be eligible for an apprenticeship you: Must be able to complete the apprenticeship within the required time, including the End-Point Assessment. Must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England. Must be ordinarily resident in the UK or its territories for at least 3 years before starting the apprenticeship.
